Join the Class Action Against the New USCIS Adjustment of Status Policy

On May 21, 2026, USCIS issued a policy memorandum (PM-602-0199) reframing adjustment of status — the process of becoming a lawful permanent resident from within the United States — as an "extraordinary" form of relief rather than a standard pathway. We believe this policy is unlawful, and we are preparing to file a class action lawsuit challenging it in federal court.

We are building a list of people who want to be part of this challenge. Submit your information below and our legal team will review every submission and reach out to those who qualify.

WHO MAY QUALIFY

This lawsuit is focused on people who have an adjustment of status application (Form I-485) currently pending with USCIS, with a receipt date before May 21, 2026. Some statutory adjustment categories are not affected by this memo and are not part of this lawsuit. Our legal team will review your submission and confirm whether you qualify.
